Growing Market Demand Accelerates Momentum for GoodData in Q2 2013

SAN FRANCISCO – August 1, 2013 – GoodData, the leader in cloud business intelligence, today announced strong growth in Q2 2013, including a 102 percent increase in revenue compared to the same period last year. GoodData also closed a $22 million Series D round, added 10,000 new active companies, signed its first seven-figure deal and opened up access to the markets of 26 new countries.

Notable new and expanded customers include: BazaarVoice, Delivery Hero, GitHub, Klarna, Phizzle, Prezi, Redfin, Scanbuy, SendGrid, Service Channel and Switchfly.

GoodData continues to meet growing market demand for simple, powerful and secure cloud-based business intelligence apps. In Q2 2013, the company increased the number of its six-figure annual contracts and rolled out new PoweredBy GoodData partnerships, doubling the number of total Monthly Active Companies (MAC).

Additionally, GoodData raised $22 million in a Series D round led by TOTVS Ventures, of Sao Paulo, Brazil, opening up access to the markets of 26 Latin American countries. With this latest round, the company has raised a total of $75.5 million. GoodData will use the funding to significantly increase headcount, expand globally as well as increase investments in R&D and marketing.
