GoodData Welcomes Pete Godbole as Chief Financial Officer

Former VMWare Executive Joins GoodData to Scale Company for Continued Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - August 28, 2014 – GoodData today announced the appointment of Pete Godbole as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Pete will oversee GoodData’s finance, information technology and legal operations. He brings over two decades of experience optimizing all aspects of financial operations in support of high growth businesses.

Pete joins GoodData from VMWare, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for the End User Computing Business, overseeing financial operations for Desktop Virtualization and Enterprise Mobility units. He brings tremendous experience in operations, financial planning and analysis. While at Hyperion (acquired by Oracle), Pete led the creation of a shared services strategy, vision, and implementation plan and shaped the field financial plan, leading to strong improvements in key metrics. At both Autodesk and Hewlett Packard, Pete held key roles in financial planning and established a strong track record of building businesses that consistently exceed financial goals.
