GoodData To Launch International Data Center For Global Expansion
GoodData to open UK data center to provide local support and governance
SAN FRANCISCO – December 4, 2014 – GoodData®, the leader in end-to-end cloud analytics, today announced it will open a new data center in the United Kingdom in the first half of 2015 to support its growing number of new global customers and existing customer base, with local support resources. The facility is one of two data centers available to GoodData customers around the world.
The European data center announcement comes on the heels of GoodData’s first customer advisory board meeting in which customer needs, corporate strategy, product roadmap and communication were major topics. Through discussions with those key customers, it became clear that the company needed an international data center presence to best serve its customers and further focus on expanding into international markets.
“A critical step in realizing the full potential of the cloud for data analytics and insights is establishing trust with your partners and clout in the industry,” said Roman Stanek, CEO at GoodData. “This expansion addresses the changing needs of our global customers who require local support and governance.”
GoodData delivers deep insights by correlating data across the entire data stream from storage to visualization. With the announcement of its new international data center, GoodData’s customers can leverage the powerful GoodData platform to make better decisions and open up markets and revenue streams.
“Consistency is an important element to any security strategy,” said William Harmer, chief security officer at GoodData. “Worldwide data centers help us provide the right level of support for customers operating under various laws and market expectations with the same level of security and performance across all geographies.”
